I was lucky enough to attend the Haven Conference in Atlanta a couple of weekends ago and I had such fun meeting amazing bloggers (in person!) and collecting their fabulous business cards. But coming home, I hated how jumbled they all were so I set out to organize them.
I was at Walmart the other day with one item on my list: kids shampoo. But I checked out the stationary aisle (because I can never go anywhere that has stationary supplies and not take a peek) and that’s where I found this very cute photo album:
(Check it out here online although it seems to be an in-store only item)
Organizing business cards in a photo book is not new but this one was just too adorable not to share (the material is coated with plastic so it’s durable too!) And at $9.96, what’s not to love?! It holds over 200 pictures, the pages are photo safe and because the pockets are meant for pictures that are 4” x 6” in size, I didn’t have to jam non-rectangular shaped cards into the slots:
After adding in all of my newly acquired cards, I placed my card on the front (bonus: the teal around the frame worked with my logo colours!) and I added a little label underneath to remind me of what’s being stored there. Here’s the finished product!
You could also add stick-on file divider tabs to inside of the pages if you’re looking to further organize your cards since the pages are a little recessed from the edges.
Little organizing projects like this give me a rush – I hope I’m not the only one??
