We recently went for a family trip to Williamsburg, VA and we LOVED it! Contrary to what we originally thought, there were an incredible amount of things to do, not only for our 4 year old but for adults alike! Including shopping which is always high on my agenda 😉 We went to a very charming (and very LARGE) shopping complex called “Williamsburg Pottery” and this is where I met my new frog friends!
They are shallow wicker baskets that cost me a whopping $0.59 each. (Is that not insane?!?!)
If you know me, you know I have love for adding something unexpected (usually involving animal shaped things) in my designed spaces. So it was no surprise to anyone that I picked up 2 of these cute little frogs! The only thing I wanted to change though was their colour. So I hit our stash of spray paint and went to town!
It took about 2 coats to fully cover the wicker which I think was pretty quick! This froggy has been stationed in my daughter’s bathroom as a face towel holder and now I wish I had bought more! (Isn’t it CUTE?!?!)
This just goes to show how, if you find something you love but don’t like an aspect of it, don’t be afraid to try and change it. Sometimes it won’t work (I’ve had many project fails in my time). But when it does work, it’s AMAZING!!!
Have you recently seen through an object only to see it’s unsung glory? Do tell!!!

OMG Lidia – I love this!! I have frogs all over our home and garden, so I guess I’m biased but if I ever found one of these, I would SO do this project!
