Ohhhh I’m so excited I can officially start talking about Christmas, my all-time FAVORITE holiday!
And because of that, I’ve collaborated with 25 other creative bloggers for a “Deck the Home Blog Hop”! Every Monday (starting today!) we’ll be sharing a themed Christmas post and this week’s is “Door Decor”. I’ve shared my project below and on Wednesday I’ll be featuring one of my fave projects from the week. Oh, and be sure to check out all of the creative talent in the link-up below! You’ll be singing “Jingle Bells” at the end of it!
With that, here is my door decor project which is a non-traditional DIY Christmas wreath using yarn!
Materials
The materials for this wreath couldn’t be simpler:
(Affiliate links are provided)
Start Wrapping your Wreath
Take the yarn intended for the body of the wreath (in my case it was black!), thread it through the wreath form and make a knot.
Continue to wind the yarn around the wreath form until it’s fully covered and tuck the end in.
Make the Rosettes
While they look intimidating, they’re insanely easy to make! Take a piece of yarn, and start winding it. Tuck the ends in, add a bit of glue and you have yourself a rosette!
Add Rosettes to your Wreath
Use your glue of choice (I love Gorilla Glue!!) and attach your rosettes to your wreath.
Enjoy your new Wreath!
