A Fall Front Door Idea!
Not too long ago I created a front door sign to thank our front line workers for helping us all out during this COVID pandemic. And with Ottawa (Canada) in its second wave, we need them now as much as we did before this viral mess even started. But my sign started to fade and peel so it was time for a change. An Easy Fall Door Sign Idea All of the details of how this sign was initially made can be found here. Step 1: Peel and touch-up your sign I peeled back the pink heart and touched up the black paint all while leaving the sign on the door (I'm lazy!) Step 2: Grab your Cricut! How to make an easy “Thank You” sign for Front Line Workers
Like me, you're probably in awe of what the world is like today. In my hometown city (Ottawa, Canada), we are on lockdown. No school for the kiddos, work from home for the adults that can, a lot of self employed businesses and businesses in general either closed or modifying their business strategy to include virtual services/delivery/pick-up options, etc. And then there are those that have to work. Our front line workers. Grocery store clerks, pharmacies, hospital workers, long term care workers, city services like garbage pick-up, the list goes on. They have to confront our pandemic head on each day and then go home to their loved ones before they have to do it all again. I applaud them. When I heard people were putting up pink hearts on their front door to salute these workers ... [ Read More ]
