Hello! (I’m honoured you want to know a little bit more about me!)
My name is Lidia (with two ‘i’s – fun fact: did you know that the Italian alphabet has no ‘y’s?)
I was born and raised in Ottawa (Ontario, Canada) and my background is in theoretical mathematics (but please don’t test me – I’m sure I’ve forgotten everything). I’m a new (ish!) mom to an amazing now 4 (!) year old named Avery and I’m lucky enough to have John, the most supportive hubby:
Avery here is 3 years old! Time flies!!
My current profession is a numbers job and while I enjoy it, I’ve always had a need for a creative outlet. Design, organization and creating beautiful functional spaces is what I’m all about. I believe every room, cupboard, drawer, (any space!) can not only have the dash of pretty everyone is looking for but it can be made to work for you – that’s where the blog’s name comes from: I design inside the box! I’m excited to show you what I’ve been up to!
